Many of experience were at Lippold Park in Crystal Lake. If you wish to honor is memory, please consider a donation to the Crystal Lake Soccer Federation.

Our Dad
Dad’s favorite color was a sky blue. He loved all of his grandchildren, 9 girls in all. He was proud of his 3 sons who have accomplished more than he could hope for. He enjoyed soccer games in the fall and spring. He loved little coffee shops and donuts with many favorite places on his list. Country Donuts in Crystal Lake being his final favorite. His family and friends were kind to him and enjoyed his company. We hope his life was full and that he knows we all loved him very much.
Cedric was born June 8th, 1941 to Pearl and Stanley Koscielski in Chicago, IL. He was the youngest of 5 siblings. 2 older sisters Beatrice and Delores and 2 older brothers Norbert and Roland. They all currently rest with God and Dad has again joyfully joined his family.
At a young age, he loved to wander in the woods and explore the outdoors in Calumet City, IL. He grew up to become a carpenter like his father, Stanley. He was married to Jean Ann Barton on August 11, 1967. He has three sons, Tim, Dennis and Brian. His sons watched him be a hardworking carpenter and he eventually started “C-Ski for Carpentry” and built two family homes in the south suburbs where his family resided.
As he grew older, he relocated from the south suburbs to Crystal Lake to be closer to family. Over that last quarter of his life of 20+ years, we had many fond memories of him, and he was happy to spend many hours with family. As he grew older, he did slow down but was always as active as he could be. In the early morning on Friday, September 6th, 2024, he quietly passed away and began a new well-deserved journey.
Thank you Dad for everything that you did. We will miss you. Thank you for all the memories which for us will never fade. You were a Dad that your sons were proud of. Rest in peace.
Always in my Heart.
